FAQ about sedation dentistry

K
L

Is sedation dentistry safe for my child?

Totally safe! We use laughing gas (nitrous oxide), a gentle sedation option that is a colorless and odorless gas administered through a comfortable breathing mask. Your child will be calm and comfortable while still fully awake and able to follow instructions. The sedation wears off once the child takes the breathing mask off. Your child will be able to get out of the dental chair just as they normally do and can go to school right afterward with no side effects.

We follow the latest guidelines and protocols set by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry around nitrous oxide for your child’s safety.
